Positioning
The late 1990s were a moment of raw possibility — the internet was rewriting the rules faster than most organizations could read them, and I was already inside the machine. I began my career not as a bystander to the digital revolution but as one of its early practitioners, building networks, configuring systems, and learning the fundamental grammar of infrastructure at a time when none of it had been standardized yet. Every solution required first principles thinking, because the playbooks simply didn't exist.
Those years shaped something more valuable than technical skill — they built instinct. I learned to see around corners, to understand how systems fail before they do, and to design with the future in mind even when the future was entirely unclear. The foundations I laid in this era, literal and professional, would prove to be the architecture on which everything that followed was built.
