Positioning
The early 2000s were a period when enterprises were drowning in disconnected systems — ERP platforms that couldn't talk to financial engines, operational data locked in silos, and integration projects that routinely collapsed under their own complexity. I spent much of this era inside that chaos, not just untangling it but designing the connective tissue that would allow large organizations to function as coherent wholes. The work was architectural before the industry had settled on what enterprise architecture truly meant, and it required holding both the business logic and the technical topology in mind simultaneously. By the time service-oriented thinking became mainstream, I had already built systems that embodied its principles — and learned, firsthand, where those principles broke down at scale.
