Every major technology wave I have lived through followed the same arc: a period of noise and speculation, then a moment when the underlying capability became undeniable, and finally the hard work of making it real inside organizations that were not designed for it. I have watched that arc repeat across enterprise integration, the web, virtualization, cloud, and mobile — and I recognize exactly where we are now with AI. The signal is real. The gap between what the technology can do and what most organizations are prepared to absorb is enormous. That gap is where I work. Since 2023 I have been positioning at that threshold — not as an evangelist, but as the person who helps leadership teams translate ambition into architecture and adoption into something durable. The questions I am helping organizations answer are not about the models themselves.
